Basis of sale
No parts of the contract can be changed after it has been entered into unless agreed by myself DroneDrop-Off and the customer you. By placing an order with me, you are entering into a contract to purchase a repair of your drone or related item.
If a repair is arranged and DroneDrop-Off are not able to complete it, or parts are unavailable, delayed or if there is a price change, you will be notified immediately.
Price and payment/process
After you have filled in the form and I have received your email with the details of the damages to the item (such as video footage or photographs) I will assess the damage and let you know if I can repair the item for you.
An initial estimate of the repair cost may be advised at this stage, this is an estimate and is subject to change once the drone is received and inspected.
If I can commence with the repair and you want to send the drone or related item/product to me or to drop it off for inspection for a quotation, a mutually convenient time and date will be organized.
It is your responsibility to send the item to me or deliver it to me in person at the agreed date and time.
If you do not get the item to me at the agreed date and time DroneDrop-Off reserves the right to cancel the repair. Please note, you will still be responsible to cover any costs incurred by DroneDrop-Off not limited to getting the item back to you.
After receiving the item from you I will inspect it and record/photograph any visible damage and send an email to you with a quote based on the inspection and the photos/videos of the damage noticed.
In some cases, the drone will need to be opened for further inspection before the quotation. If this is the case you will be notified in advance and will need to agree to this further inspection before I open the drone
I reserve the right to amend the quotation during the repair if more damage is found inside or on the drone or related item/product. I will keep you the customer informed throughout the process.
If you do decide to go ahead with the repair, I will advise an approximate timescale.
If you decide not to go ahead with the repair, I will send the item back or arrange a convenient time with you to collect it.
I reserve the right to charge return postage and packaging costs if for any reason the repair does not go ahead.
When the payment of the requested deposit is received to cover the parts I will start the repair.
Please note, once the repair has commenced I will not accept any refunds or cancellations.
In some cases I may not request a deposit, if this is the case there will be one payment requested once a successful repair has been confirmed.
When the repair is finalized and I have completed the necessary checks and tests to confirm the item is working again, you will receive a final invoice to cover any other costs such as labour and return postage.
I will advise by email, other online or phone communication to confirm a successful repair and send a short video showing the item working again.
To complete payment I will provide you with bank details to transfer the payment across to the correct account or if you are collecting the drone in person you can pay via cash.
The item will be sent back on receipt of payment (or in the case of the collection in person it will be given back to you as soon as payment is received).
I aim to return the drone within 2 days, however, if this is not possible, I will keep you updated of any delays.
If you cancel payment via your bank etc. during or after the repair and/or refuse to pay I reserve the right to keep the item in place of payment.
If payment is not received within 30 days of the invoice being issued, I reserve the right to sell the item in order to recoup the cost of the outstanding amount.

Receiving of your item
Once you have received your returned item please check it to make sure that it has not been damaged in the post.
If your item is damaged, please contact me immediately.
You will need to keep any packaging as the courier may need this as evidence, you may also need to provide photographic evidence of any damage incurred.
Testing of the item
To ensure your item is working after the repair I will carry out some tests.
This will usually be 1-4 test flights if it’s a drone or approximately 20 mins of testing if it’s a gimbal/camera or other items.
Due to these necessary checks, there will be a small amount of extra use on your item, including but not limited to extra cycles on the battery which you provide.
The test will be to test the parts replaced and does not show any guarantee.
